31. Myself

I don't particularly like selfies.  I tried to be creative, like so many others I saw, and wasn't happy with any of them, so I settled on this one.  Considering I had a terrible headache after a terribly long day, I don't look too shabby.  :)



Song Challenge Day 6 - The earliest song I can remember from my childhood.

Carly Simon's "The Stuff that Dreams Are Made Of."  Back before CDs and iPods (I know, the horror!), Mom would have the radio on while she made dinner and the like.  I loved this song and would sing to it at the top of my lungs - "It's the stuff that dreams tomato."  And if you listen, in defense of my child-self, it really does sound like that!

Song Challenge Day 5 - Song that gets stuck in my head the most.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great song to run / work out to, but I get really annoyed when I'm still singing it 3 hours later.

Seriously, I think Sara Bareilles must have been in my head when she wrote this album.  "Uncharted" is from this album as well, and here's one of my other favorites.

This looked so picturesque out the window of the Y, but with PA's lack of treating roads and the beginnings of a snowstorm, I didn't dare get close enough for a better shot.

No song until Monday - I don't make my kids do homework over the weekend.  I'm such a nice teacher!!
